Meet me Saturday February 22nd at the Pet Valu n Open House, Olney MD  11am – 1pm Benji, racing name WW Benji, is a small white/red boy who’s raced 214 races. He is only 65 lbs. but is packed with love! He is an affectionate, happy and curious boy who is exploring all the new things in his retired life. He likes his crate and is quiet and pleasant at home. His foster family has only heard him whimper in the morning when he really needs a potty break. He lives with a cat in his foster home, that he mainly ignores. Well, he tries to get sniffs to figure out what it could be, but other than sniffs there has been no interest in the cat. He has also walked past fluffy small and bulky big dogs without much more than a look. He likes other greyhounds -who doesn’t- but he could be an only dog too. He loves his walks and is exited to go out an explore any time that he has a chance. He loves people and tries to get a pet from everyone in his walks. He is also food motivated and keen for affection and approval, which makes him easy to train. He is still confused by bikes and loud noises, but he stares down the construction site and bikers without any intention of getting in their way.   Benji will be available for approved adopter visits beginning 2/7/2020.
