Mickey, racing name Mickey Donovan, is a soon to be 5 year old black brindle male with a distinctive gray-speckled face.  He is a super sweet and affectionate boy.  Mickey loves people – big and small.  He is living with the resident female greyhound and is getting along very well with her.  Loud noises (i.e., trucks, cars, barking dogs) don’t bother Mickey at all.  The neighborhood afternoon party with music, talking adults and playing children only enticed Mickey to join in.  He gets along fine with small dogs but probably no cats.  Mickey takes redirection very well and hasn’t shown any interest in counter surfing or touching electronic devices in his foster home.   When Mickey entered Greyhound Welfare’s foster program, he was thoroughly evaluated by a neurological veterinarian due to two seizures he had while in Florida.  The evaluation showed Mickey had a minor stroke several months ago resulting in a focal point for the seizures.  Mickey is on anti-seizure medication and is doing well.  Mickey will need to take this medication indefinitely.   Mickey is a love bug looking for a forever home where he can shower his humans with affection.  Might that home be yours?  Apply now for a chance to meet Mickey.
