Martina, racing name CET Martina, is an energetic and curious two-year-old fawn girl who retired after just 26 races. She loves exploring the world around her and is looking for an adopter who is willing to provide her with physical and mental stimulation. Martina has a playful streak, but she is gentle with stuffies and is happy to squeak them and toss them around without being destructive. She walks nicely on leash and is not fazed by walkers, runners, or bicyclists in the park, nor by noisy traffic out on the main road.
Martina has already learned how to go up and down the stairs and has had no trouble walking on hardwood and tile floors. She gets along with the other greyhounds in her foster home and has politely introduced herself to large dogs on leash. She has shown some interest on smaller dogs, bunnies, and squirrels outside, but she is working on learning to ignore them in favor of yummy treats.
