Mya

Mya, racing name French Armada, is a gorgeous 2.5 year old Irish cailín (girl) who is ready to race her way into your heart. She arrived in America recently, not long after deciding working was not really her vibe.

This curious and mischievous girl loves exploring all the sights, sounds, and smells a home has to offer. She is very comfortable in her bed, especially after absconding with a stuffed animal. She is calm and quiet throughout the day, and is sleeping well. She’s still adjusting to her new routine, and occasionally wakes up early for a potty break. She is also doing well at being alone, and spends her time roaching the day away.

Mya loves to walk, and has good leash manners. She can be a bit distracted by new sights and sounds, but is not showing signs of distress with new experiences. While she didn’t race, be aware that she still might like to run. She is doing great with the resident Greyhound, and mostly respects his boundaries.

Mya has already warmed up a great amount in the short time she’s been here. She will likely be timid in a new environment, but with love and patience she will thrive and become a wonderful companion.
