Dawson will be at the Meet ‘n Greet on Saturday 7/6/24 from 11 am to 1 pm at Weber’s Pet Supermarket, 2280 Hunters Woods Plaza, Reston, VA. Come meet him!
Dawson, racing name VJ Truth Hurts, is a sweet, 67 lbs., boy who retired after 75 races. He is turning 4 on July 10 and what he is wishing for his birthday is to meet his forever family.
Dawson is a very quiet, friendly gentleman whose favorite activity right now is to say “Hello” to everyone he meets. He gently puts his long nose right into peoples hands and leans against them for attention. He has seen, but not met, small dogs and children without reaction so an update will follow. His sleek black coat is like velvet and he has white on the tips of his rear paws, on his chest, and on the tip of his tail.
As he settles into retirement, Dawson has shown interest in everything new, especially in squirrels and rabbits, and also tried to run alongside a runner who passed us on our walk, He is getting used to cars and trucks.
Dawson will be available for approved adopter visits on July 13. Please check back for updates as he settles into his foster home.
