Tallis

Tallis, racing name “Righteous Life,”aka Locke, is a 7-year-old male who completed 42 races. Tallis is a beautiful black hound with a little patch of white on his front. He is a fantastic sleeper, he settled right in after arriving for a long nap. He’s handled car rides, stairs, and an elevator without a hitch. He’s a very good boy, happy to sleep away the day. He’s quiet all day and sleeps soundly through the whole night. He hasn’t shown interest in toys yet but loves to show off his numerous tricks for kibble or treats. He is extremely food motivated and is highly trainable.

Tallis walks very well on the leash, and enjoys sniffing any sort of green area. We have seen a couple of larger dogs around town and he’s shown no interest, but he does not like small dogs in his space. He has seen squirrels and pigeons outside as well but hasn’t given them any attention, he’s very content to politely explore his surroundings. He’s heard several loud city noises (loud cars, motorcycles, buses) and is not perturbed by any of it.
